RDÉE Saskatchewan
Through its affiliation with the Réseau de développement économique et d'employabilité (RDÉE) (Economic Development and Employability Network), the Conseil de la Coopération de la Saskatchewan (CCS) provides access to a wealth of services to Francophone business people in the province.
There are almost twenty thousand inhabitants in Saskatchewan for whom French is their first language. They make a significant contribution to the economy since several Francophone and Francophile entrepreneurs create employment there.
Whether it be sharing good practices, awareness of entrepreneurship, supporting and enhancing employability prospects, the CCS and the RDÉE Saskatchewan can contribute to the success of your business or your community development.
The product of a partnership between 10 federal departments and Francophone communities outside Quebec, the RDÉE brings together and makes for more focused action in the areas of rural development, knowledge-based economy resources, youth integration in economic development and tourism.
With the help of the RDÉE Saskatchewan, you can rely on a CCS presence in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon.
Rural Development
RDÉE Saskatchewan supports Francophone initiatives in the rural environment and plays a part in empowering community capabilities. Such empowerment is made possible through the establishment of strategic development plans called Vision projects. The RDÉE Saskatchewan recognizes leaders and awards the BRAVO prize to outstanding individuals, groups of people or associations in community economic development. Leadership training is offered to all prize nominees.

Youth Integration
The first objective of the youth sector is to raise an awareness of entrepreneurship among young people aged between 15 and 35 years.
Activities include Camp Jeunes entrepreneurs, a website competition, supplementary workshops in entrepreneurship, canteens in schools, implementing micro-businesses, career days (partnership) – support and enhancement of employability.

“I would like to thank you for your care when I was at the camp. The camp was very well organized and an unforgettable experience for me. I learned much and had fun at the same time. I would like to return next year. Thank you for your good work and encouragement.” - Natasha Boyer, Regina.
Tourism
The tourism sector of the RDÉE Saskatchewan helps to develop and promote Francophone tourism in Saskatchewan.
The RDÉE publishes a Francophone tourist guide. La Saskatchewan et ses attraits and manages the Internet site www.tourismesaskatchewan.ca
RDÉE Saskatchewan also gathers data and analyses Francophone tourism in Saskatchewan. It offers its business expertise to tourist organizations and brings them together.
Lastly, the CCS and the RDÉE Saskatchewan cooperate with the other RDÉE networks in the Western provinces to develop the Francophone tourist corridor, inviting travellers to discover the Francophone heritage of the West.

“Many thanks for the beautiful pictures. I am looking forward to travelling to the Western provinces and especially to meeting people who speak our language. Thus my curiosity will be satisfied and my questions answered. Looking forward to meeting you,” - Fernande Toupin, St-Cuthbert (Québec)
“Congratulations! On behalf of the Assemblée communautaire fransaskoise we send our sincere congratulations on the publication of the 2003-2004 edition of the tourist brochure, La Saskatchewan et ses attraits. The professionalism of the CCS team is obvious in this up-market document. You have succeeded in ensuring recognition for Saskatchewan at a national level and the community is proud of this and grateful to you.”- Jennie Baudais, President of the Assemblée communautaire fransaskoise (ACF)
Knowledge-Based Economy
The knowledge-based sector of the RDÉE Saskatchewan develops tools, programs and services to enable business people, individuals and communities to position themselves favourably in the Technological Conversion. The projects that have been implemented include Sokrate, a cyber-mentoring program in partnership with Franco-Saskatchewanian and Manitoban organizations, the travelling computer camp, technology information sessions, the Groupe Informatik - management of a computer population by a technician in partnership with various Franco-Saskatchewanian organizations.
