The CDEM (Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities) and the AMBM (Association of Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities) will recognize the contribution of three pioneering entrepreneurial families in our communities at the Gala of the Pioneers of Francophone Entrepreneurship in Manitoba. This event will highlight the pronounced link between economic success and a strong community, as well as the importance of the intergenerational knowledge transfer for the economic development of Manitoba’s bilingual municipalities.

Today RDÉE Ontario announced a $142,300 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) in support of Éco-Huronie. Éco-Huronie is an ecology centre that participates in the sustainable development of its community through activities such as heritage conservation, research on biodiversity, promotion of rural development through awareness and education of community members regarding the environment and healthy nutrition.
