Knowledge-based Economy
In this area, which is based on knowledge management and the significant use of information and communication technologies, there are three key priorities: creating awareness and integrating electronic business into Francophone and Acadian SMEs, developing the full potential to use broadband and deploying learning communities and communities of practice within the network.
Knowledge plays a crucial role in the economy. Our communities’ wealth is no longer based solely on the production of goods and services but on a skilled work force composed of experts on the lookout for new technology in their fields.
The main objectives of the knowledge economy are to establish a network of communication and knowledge sharing among Canada’s various Francophone communities and to promote the importance of using information and communication technologies. In the context of market globalization, RDÉE Canada is seeking to promote the importance of the new economy based on the development and sharing of knowledge and expertise.
