On-going and major investment to foster the growth and development of NCCFHRD (internal) human resources
- Developing community-based economic development skills and knowledge
- Placing more emphasis on acquiring new job skills
- Increasing information technology and communications skill levels
Identify and consolidate the human, financial and material resources required to achieve national, regional, provincial and territorial (internal) strategic plans
- Assign the human and material resources required for the operationalization of the five-year strategic planning process
- Create an interdepartmental fund to provide long-term financing for the implementation of the strategic plan
- Maximize results for the NCCFHRD’s projects
Create and introduce within the NCCFHRD an organizational culture focussed on the creation of target-specific business partnerships and alliances; (internal/external)
- Create and cement strategic partnerships and alliances for the implementation of the NCCFHRD’s five-year strategic plan
- Promote the initiatives stemming from the NCCFHRD’s strategic planning that involve interdepartmental and/or private funding.
- Pave the way for the establishment of regional socio-economic development strategies that complement the national, provincial and territorial strategies.
Maximize the value of the NCCFHRD’s pan-Canadian network of socio-economic members
- Channel the economic forces of the member network
- Recognize the results and added-value of the NCCFHRD’s work
- Maximize the integration of technology in the NCCFHRD’s work (Gazel.ca network)
Reinforce the excellence and innovation of the work of socio-economic members of the Francophone and Acadian communities; (internal/external)
- Publicly recognize the contribution made by socio-economic members for excellence and innovation
- Promote the initiatives stemming from the NCCFHRD’s strategic planning that demonstrate excellence and innovation.
Direct research into the socio-economic development of Francophone and Acadian communities; (internal/external)
- Provide for the creation and updating of detailed socio-economic profiles of Francophone and Acadian communities
- Implement the socio-economic development research results in the work of the NCCFHRD
