Roadmap Renewal: RDÉE Canada pleased with Enabling Fund renewal

Ottawa, March 28, 2013 – The Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, announced today the details of the new Roadmap for Canada's Official Languages 2013-2018. The renewal of the Enabling Fund for Official Language Minority Communities, which is part of the Roadmap, will enable RDÉE Canada (Réseau de développement économique et d'employabilité Canada), Canada's Francophone economic development and employability network, to maintain continuity in its ongoing efforts to increase its economic impact and job creation in Canada's Francophone and Acadian communities.

Unveiled this morning at Ottawa's École publique secondaire De La Salle, the new Roadmap for Canada's Official Languages 2013-2018 is a follow-up to the Roadmap for Canada's Linguistic Duality 2008-2013. The level of funding announced is essentially the same as that provided over the past five years.
