Produced by RDÉE Canada in collaboration with Société Santé en français (SSF), this study examines workforce challenges affecting health professions in Francophone and Acadian minority communities. Drawing on recent data, consultations across Canada, and a review of nearly 200 documentary sources, it presents a national picture of ten key health professions, identifies major barriers to recruitment, retention and professional integration, and assesses workforce needs through 2035. The report also proposes a coordinated strategy to improve access to French-language health services, including stronger workforce planning, better recognition of international credentials, targeted recruitment, improved linguistic data, and the careful use of digital tools.
